Funny you should say that -- I've been watching a bunch of videos about the willow, coppicing and living structures in the last week or two. Looks like a really interesting plant.
It was a childhood friend to me when I was in an abusive home growing up. It felt like a magical refuge. They are also very interesting in how they grow. A tree can grow from a branch that's been swept downstream. So they really do wander!
I never really thought much about the willow tree (wasn't much part of my environment -- that or I just never paid it much attention!). The fact that you say how it wanders has me thinking about the different characters and symbolisms different trees possess.
I'd love to learn more about the different symbolisms we've attributed to trees through the ages.
I always loved the conifer trees in my grandma’s backyard. A Christmas tree year round lol. I liked how they always stayed green, and then I realized that is what evergreen trees meant haha. I don’t remember exactly what type of tree that was, only that every evergreen/conifer tree was dubbed “pine” which is not correct usually.
And you, dear Ben, you moved me! You allowed me to feel to experience co creation. What I feel to be true - fires something in you, reminds you of what you know to be true. And then you allowed me to see that, to feel that - and showed me that it reached you and therefore I know that we vibrate in the same frequency at that moment. We tuned in to the same radio station in that moment. I reached you and you reached me because we both chose to. Allowed to. And this soo beautiful to feel - we are simply co creating. Thank you so much for making this so visible- for me to see- for you to see- and allowing everyone else to witness the same. If they want to, they can. So much love ❤️ mitra
For those who spread ideas, beauty and wonder online, I say thank you. And those who misuse the internet to sow hate or sell half-truths, I say good bye. Your presence isn’t welcomed here.
I'm always for being like a tree.
What kind of tree would you say is your spirit tree?
I'd have to say Willow on that one 😉

What is it about the willow that appeals to you?

BEAUTIFUL!!! ❤️
Thank you Mitra! Your note really moved me and helped solidify my idea of what it means to be a man.

Can’t say more than that.
