Washing dishes, sweeping the floor… I recently heard about a practice apparently common in Japan where people cut grass with scissors as a form of meditation. The thing about ironing is that I found myself thinking about all the people who participated in creating the garment. Who were they? Where did they live? What were their lives like? I found thinking about that kind of mind-blowing.

Cheers Ben. I cut some grass with scissors lately as one of my kids is very pro bug and wouldn’t let me use the lawn mower. It was hard going!
